Founded in 1974, the Rutgers Queens Chorale is the oldest all-female student-run choir at Rutgers University. We were founded by a group of ambitious and talented women from Kirkpatrick Choir with the intent to sing traditional Rutgers music.
The ladies of Queens Chorale throughout the years have cultivated a relaxing atmosphere where we can enjoy singing as a group. We also hold events outside rehearsal, including sectionals and social gatherings.
QC sings at many Rutgers events, including Scholars' Days, Commencement, Convocation, and various alumni and scholarship dinners. We also have biannual concerts at the end of each semester.
Rehearsal Schedule:
Wednesday 6:00-7:45pm @ the Lion's Lounge 115 in the College Ave Student Center
Friday 2:15-4:45 @ Kirkpatrick Chapel
